On MUDKIPS, I have no idea of what, who or where it is!
I have, on my own and at my own expense, studied the many religeons of our worls, past and present. My coclusions came to one thing: 1 if given an exact idea, some people will become religeous with that idea, until they pass from their earthly life. I would call most of the so-called religeons a form of brain washing.

As a christian myself seeing and hearing people like this make me sick, you "believe" in something you obviously don't even have a basic understanding of, you just regurgitate fractured pieces of other peoples arguments and try to string them together to create an argument. But what you fail to realise is that these other statements and arguments actually have nothing to do with the topic you are trying to support with them.

I am not sure that the person who formed this opinion understands what mythology is. Myth is different to lies, or fiction - which is a common mistake people make.
Christianity is a religion, made up as a result of folklore. It is merely a metaphorical representation of life - allegorical writing during the time christianity was being founded - was common place. Christianity shows all classic signs of legend stories, not to mention the fact that these stories are far from unique to christianity, they aren't even unique to Judaism. The origin of these myths are waaay older than either of these religions.

There are strong women in Greek Mythology but for the most part it's men doing "men's work."

Christianity is linked to the older mythologies, especially from a historical and religious view. If you don't believe me look at the Pagan holidays that the Christians claimed as their own to helpp convert the Pagan believers. We all know Jesus was not born in December because the stars don't match up for that time of year. But hey it was the Pagan Yule so they had to have something. Even parts of Jesus' story can be linked to myth. Many gods were born in a stable or hay. It's all very interesting if you are not afraid to open your mind and research how alot of religons are alike and how they link to mythology.

Why do people get so damn defensive about this stuff? All "religions" are nothing more than a man made idea. So basically they are all connected one way or another. So does it really matter weather it is connected or not? Everyone is entitled to believe in what ever they want. If one person likes relish on his hot dog and the other doesn't does that make the relish guy a pompous herritic loser who should burn in hell? And yes it is the same this with religion so don't go getting all defensive about it! That is how childish it is to fight over whose god can kick whose god's butt! Why can't people just leave each others faiths alone and stop trying to force on everyone!?

Since when is a statement grounded in historical fact a pompous, ignorant statement? Your imaginary skygod differs only in name from the thousands of long since discarded gods. The mythology surrounding jeebus borrows heavily from many equally ridiculous and completely unfounded religions. Learn to learn. Lemmings.....

If by "no means unique" you mean worshiping a higher power then yes, otherwise that\'s a very pompous ignorant statement.

Actually, no - not only the un-informed would make such a statement. The mythology from this part of the world is pretty much all linked.

Christianity is most definitely a product of mythology. It is by no means unique.

Mythology and christianity do not mean the same, cause mythology ys just a mere fiction broght about by someone we do not know, while christianity is the real truth about our actual existence.
